Lima´s Peru Great Divide

5 DAYS TRIP

This is a section of one of the most amazing backpacking trips of the world, in our case with the support of an organized trip. Starting from Lima city we will lead you to the main Andes on places very few visited on amazing landscapes. A very big adventure only for the braves and strong ones.

Season: May to November.
Average Stats: 2800-5000 mt of elevation / 40 Km per day / 4-6 hours riding time. Terrain: Gravel roads

About the place:

The main trip is ridden on dirt roads and some paths that are still in use by local shepherds. We have chosen these tracks because they are far from the main road traffic and because we will be able to enjoy the peaceful life of the wild Andean countryside.
In general very basic services during the trip, so must be open to this conditions that are part of the country.

Available by request.

The Spots:

Canta: A beautiful village in the Andes.
La Viuda: A highpass to go from the coast to the andes.
The Nor Yauyos Reserve: A historical, cultural and landscape Reserve.

Suggested Itinerary:

As a tailored trip we are open to discussing any request about your biking expectations.
