Caral Valley (2 days)
This is a ride for those who prefer gravel roads and want to find beautiful landscapes and a lot of ancient history. The trip is recommended to do in two stages, on the first day drive four hours north, ride in the afternoon and sleep well, and for the second day spend half the morning riding to Caral and after the visit to the site, riding back down to the coast before driving back to Lima.
Season: All the year.

About the Place:
Caral citadel is 5,000 years old and represents in the history timeline, the first organized civilization in America, the place where the Andean culture was born. Discovered, cleaned and recovered now we can see some impressive pyramidal buildings that were covered by sand for three thousand years.

A four-hour trip on the Panamerican Highway is needed.
Two days on a private van and one night at a hotel.
Day 1: Leaving Lima at 8 am to Huacho, will start riding around 1 pm along the valley of Supe River to arrive at the hotel in the afternoon. On the way, we will see many ancient constructions of the Caral and Inca times.
Day 2: We will begin the day near 9 am riding to Caral. We will take a visit to the archaeological site for about two hours. Then, we will start to ride down to the coast to the Végueta archaeological site and if you decide we may finish at the beach before picking up the bikes, lunch and return to Lima. Arriving at night
What to bring: Try to bring your basic equipment: helmet, gloves.
We will decide the track to do depending on your profile. But as a regular measure, you should carry in your backpack at least 1 Lt of water, some snacks and fruit
A windvest or a couple of layers on winter days and a lot of sunscreen in summer.

The trip could be extended to two or three days, riding to the nearest Andean village: Churin known because of its healthy hot springs and the Andean mountain that surrounds the area.
Any broken or damaged part of the bike or equipment, made intentionally or not, caused by riders or terrain issues must get paid back at commercial prices (ex: frame, levers, gears, derrailleur, tyres, wheels, helmet, gloves, etc).
Any injury caused by any reason during the ride is fully responsability of the rider and any medical or transportation cost must be covered by the rider. This is an adventure sport activity subject by its nature to any kind of non expected events.
