Cycling Pacha Valley

The ride in the Pachacamac valley is perfect to escape from the city to get in touch with nature, and to see a different side of Lima.
This is a bike ride with variations for enthusiasts and riders that want some fun on gravel and/or easy technical singletracks.

Season: Trails are fully available the whole year.

Pacha Valley Trails: 200-300 mt positive altitude / 20-25 Km / 2:00-2:30 effective riding time.

About the Place:

Pacha Valley is the best and nearest place on the south side of Lima to ride bikes surrounded by the mountains of the valley of Pachacamac and not less important without the traffic pressure. Historically, the Pachacamac Valley takes its name from the God Pachacamac, ruler of the earth, who lived in this area for two thousand years.

How to choose your mtb trail:

It is essential to know your skills and training to choose the right trail:
1. If you like Mountain Biking but you don´t ride on singletracks the Pacha Valley ride is the right choice. But if you are at starter level and want to challenge yourself on singletracks, the ride may include a section. Follow this link and take a look: https://www.strava.com/PachaValleyTrails

2. If you are an intermediate or very experienced rider your choice must be Pacha Trails to enjoy a fully singletracks ride.

About the Ride:

The ride is done along the valley and the bottom of the mountains on some non-technical trails. The loop is around 20-25K mostly on gravel roads and wide paths and if you complete the trail and want a little bit of action we may add some singletracks.
With less than 300m of total climb, you ride 75% of the ride on gravel roads and wide paths.
