El Morro Singletracks
The bikers singletracks choice for mountain biking rides in Lima city.
Here you can do a technical ride or use the trail to learn making this hill perfect for an enjoyable two hours ride.
Get ready to climb up and start the singletracks trails plus the downhill for intermediate level to up or the XC lines.
Intermediate level to up.
IMBA Blue Square average, but has lower and higher level sections.
All the year. Ideal from November to May.

About the Place:
El Morro is a dry, rocky and dusty place, located in the southern extreme of Lima bay. Because of its location and height (near 300m) weather is similar as the city and during summer (feb/mar) is very hot and dry, so is better to ride early, in opposite winter time (aug/sep) is quite humid and bit cold and some days covered by myst.
Morro trail is around 12K doing some extra loops may ride 15-16K that can be done in a maximum of couple of hours of full up and down XC/enduro singletracks.
What to bring:
Try to bring your own basic equipment: helmet, gloves and protective wear (recommended).
Just a small snack
1L of water, a windvest or a couple of layers in winter days.
2L of water and a lot of sunscreen in summer.
Important Note / Advice:
Because of safety issues El Morro cannot be ridden but on special days and hours: Tuesday to Sunday from 6 to 10 am.
El Morro trails are available only if you are an intermediate rider, from Tuesday to Sunday from 6 am to 10 am. Beginners may ride here too but not all the trails, to them is a learning ride.

It takes 20 minutes (8 Km) riding across the city to/from El Morro.
To get to our office you may take a taxi, 10 minutes from Miraflores or Barranco, average cost of de 5 USD

INCLUSIONS: Mountain bike full suspension or hardtail as available, helmet and gloves. If you bring your biking shoes we can include SPDs pedals.
NOT INCLUDED: Meals, snacks, water or any personal spend. Transportation from your hotel to our office (you may take a taxi to our meeting point in Surco, 10 minutes by car from Miraflores or Barranco, average cost of 5 USD).
Any broken or damaged part of the bike or equipment, made intentionally or not, caused by riders or terrain issues must get paid back at commercial prices (ex: frame, levers, gears, derrailleur, tyres, wheels, helmet, gloves, etc).
Any injury caused by any reason during the ride is fully responsability of the rider and any medical or transportation cost must be covered by the rider. This is an adventure sport activity subject by its nature to any kind of non expected events.
