About the Place:
Olleros name is because of the ancestral job of this region: cooking pots of clay (ollas in Spanish), these pots are a very typical and classic way to cook some meals, traditional people say that meals are better if cooked in a pot of clay.
The village of Olleros is located at 2800m height, we start the ride at 3500m.
The Trail:
Three sections of SINGLETRACKS downhill trail / 20+ Km / Intermediate to Expert Level. / 2400m of singletracks descend.
If you are a basic level consider the option to ride on the gravel road.
Riding out to the coast: 20 Km and 1,000m of descend.+ the last 10K pedaling by the gravel road to the Pacific shore.
Another important thing is the weather: depending on the month the weather on the coast could be very cold and humid, so ask before what to wear.
May to November Best Season
These are the perfect months to drive up to the mountains and ride down to the coast. Rains are usually from January to March, months absolutely closed to go and ride.

Any injury caused by any reason during the ride is the full responsibility of the rider and any medical or transportation cost must be covered by the rider. This is an adventure sport activity subject by its nature to any kind of non-expected events.
What to bring:
Try to bring your basic equipment: helmet, gloves and protective wear (recommended).
Some snacks of your preferences (we include some)
1Lt of water, a wind vest or a couple of layers on winter days. Sunscreen for the sections in the Andes.
We carry on the van some fruits, and extra water, if you need to request some special meals please ask.
Important:
To ride all sections, you must be very honest with your skills, if never have done a downhill by singletracks, please consider seriously to take instead the gravel road instead.
In case you want to try (think of the possibility of spending too much time on the trail and shortening the trip´s final distance or having some injury) this route has a technical first section (A) that usually must be done in 30 minutes as average, if you take more time is because you do not have the required experience to flow on trails, that will compromise your endurance for the rest of trail, in this case, you must ride only by the gravel road that follows beside the trail.
Section B flows easier, section C is the hardest, only for good riders, and section D starts once the downhill singletracks finish and takes you to San Bartolo Beach.
Olleros is available only if you are at least an intermediate rider. Beginners may ride here too but will use the road instead of the trails.
Fully recommended to use a Full Suspension Bike
Very Small Group only.
