About the Place:

In recent years, local governments have developed an extensive network of cycle lanes throughout the city and along Lima’s coastline. Today, cyclists can enjoy a smooth, flat ride that stretches across nearly the entire bay. The route is safe and ideal for all levels, especially in the early morning

The Rides:

Starting from our office, we have the choice to ride the full loop or a partial ride depending your fitness condition and skills.

1. The Main Loop: Good for average cyclists, 2 hours of effective riding time and an average of 30 Km. One way could be done along the beaches and return by Lima Seafront, it includes reaching La Herradura Beach and/or the climb to El Morro Cross viewpoint by road.

2. Shorter Loops: Just a ride along the seafront of San Isidro, Miraflores and Barranco. Ideal for non regular cyclists. 18Km completely flat.
You may add 5Km more to reach El Morro

Extra Activities: We may use the ride to stop and take a breakfast, coffee or a dessert or after finishing the ride walk a couple of blocks and visit the local market and pick some bread, juice, coffee or fruits (spends not included).

Available the whole year

From July to September, rain becomes more common in the city, which may result in ride delays or rescheduling to the afternoon. Lima is not well built for rain; as a result, when it is wet, it takes a considerable amount of time to dry. On hot days is a smart decision to ride as early as possible to avoid the heath and the crowd that goes to the beaches.

What to bring:
Try to bring your basic equipment: helmet, gloves, if not we provide them.
Just a small snack and 1 Lt of water. There are lot of shops on the way. Sunscreen in summer.
A wind vest or a couple of layers on winter days.
